Youth Barrels - ( for ages 17 and under)

Entry Fees: $30 for members; $35 for nonmembers

SBRA Membership fees: $50 - There is a required $50 sponsorship fee due by January 2010.

Entry Fees for Pole and Barrel Classes will be $25

Hairpen and Combination Race, & Flag Race will be $15

Egg n Spoon, Catalog Race is $10

Payback - 70% Pole Classes will be 3D payout with one second split

Barrel Classes will be 4D payout

Hairpen, Combination Race, and Flag Race will be 2D payout with

one second split

Egg n Spoon & Catalog Race will be straight up (for example, 1rst -

3rd)

For the 2009 - 2010 season, there are a total of six shows. A member must compete at 3 shows in order for their points to count towards finals.

Three shows have already been held: Hope Arena in June, Labelle in August, and in Sandspur Arena in September. Three shows are left. If you want to become a member of the FEPC, you will need to participate in the next three shows in order for your points to count towards finals.

SCHEDULE

October 23, 2009 - Florida Equine Athlete’s Benefit Show - This show is a benefit for the FEPC and SBRA. It will not be counted for points but will have classes such as barrels, poles, and other fun events. This is to have fun and raise money for awards. Further information is to come. Location Reality Ranch in Zolfo Springs, Exh 5 - 7:30 pm; Show at 8 pm.

Show #4 December 19th (Saturday) - Bass’s Arena in Davenport - Pole Exh 9 - 10:30 am Barrel Exh 10:30 am - 12 noon; Show 12:30 pm; Concession Stand Available. There will be a Christmas Party after the show. Enjoy dancing in the arena or just hang out and enjoy fellowship this Christmas season. Concession Stand continued throughout the party. NO ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED! This will be co-sanctioned with the Florida Equine Polebenders Circuit. Order of classes: Youth Barrels, Novice Barrels, Open Barrels, Youth Poles, Sr. Poles, and Open Polebending. SBRA EF $30 member; $35 non member. FEPC EF $28 EF Added Money TBD. SBRA Open Barrels will be a 4D payout and the FEPC Open Barrels will be a 3D payout. Added money TBD

Show #5 - January 16, 2009 - Saturday - Reality Ranch, Zolfo Springs, FL - Barrel Exh 9 - 10:30; Pole Exh 10:30 - 12 noon; Show 12:30 pm; More information to come. This show is cosanctioned with the Florida Equine Polebenders Circuit. This time the order of classes will be Youth Poles, Sr. Poles, Open Poles, Novice Horse Barrels, Youth Barrels, and Open Barrels. Added money TBD

Show #6 - February 2010 (exact date not set yet) - Bass’s Arena in Davenport, FL 6810 Orange Blossom Trail, Davenport, FL - More information to come. Added money TBD

NOTES

Finals will be held in April 2010 (tentatively) and the tentative location is River Ranch.

Membership is $50 for an individual and $30 for Youth. (Youth is under age 18).

Member finalists have a sponsorship fee due two months prior to the finals. So, the tentative date for the finals is April 2010; therefore, the sponsorship fee is due February2010.

FEPC classes: Youth Polebending,Senior Polebending,Open Polebending, and Open Barrels. All classes are 3D with one second split . Sometimes, the Open Barrels class is held as a 4D. If this is the case, points for members are still allocated for 3D (1sec split).
